Lockdown

Jo Earl —

Thank you all so much for your support last Friday in very trying times.

We are pleased with the way the lockdown was handled and the support we received. I want to make particular mention and give thanks to Clay Penrose for his selfless support that he gave our Leadership Team throughout he whole process.

We would also like to thank all the parents that happened to be onsite during the lockdown. Your help was invaluable - it was very much appreciated.

As we would with any event - we will be reviewing procedures to ensure that if we need to change the way anything was handled on the day then we will.

This week the Canterbury Primary Principals' Association (CPPA) provided an opportunity for all our staff to attend a seminar on dealing with trauma for ourselves and our children. This was run by Nathan Wallis (Neuroscience Educator & Director of X-Factor Education. The sessions were excellent - thank you to the CPPA for providing and funding this.
