From the Principal

Kia ora koutou

It is fabulous to have everyone back! 

We have welcomed 35 new students to our school this week - we want to welcome all these students and their families to our school whanau - we hope you all enjoy your time here with us.

You may have noticed some changes. Our library has been shifted into one of the older buildings and we are now using the library space as a learning hub for our intermediate students. This area of the school has grown in number and we needed to spread out a little!

We have also welcomed a new staff member, Lauren Farrell McCabe. Lauren is working in the Kaupeka team with our Year 7 students. Lauren, an experienced teacher in Ireland, came to NZ last year and we are excited to have her join the team - Welcome Lauren!

Front Entrance

We are delighted with the work on the front entrance so far. Hopefully the fences will come down within the next week or and the seating will be installed. We can't wait for you to be able to enjoy this space.

Swimming Sports 

Swimming Sports for our Year 5-8 students are on Friday 17 February. More information about this will be sent home closer to the time.

Newsletters

Newsletters will be sent fortnightly starting next week. Please note that you can access the school calendar, the sports blog and past newsletters at the top of each newsletter.
