Easter Raffle

Whānau Assisi —

This year Whānau Assisi, who had their first meeting on Monday night, has again decided to run an Easter Raffle. We want to raise funds for new library books and also pay for some new outdoor play equipment for our students.

We are asking each child to bring in one item for the raffle. Items such as a grocery item or an Easter Chocolate treat. We will divide the items into gift baskets and these will form the prizes for the raffle alongside the first prize which is a bike.

These items can be brought in anytime from now until Wednesday 6 April and will be collected in the hubs. For each donation made the children will be given a playground token. The tokens can be used to vote for the fun event for the end of term. At the moment the children are voting on: Sausage Sizzle, Dance Party, Non-uniform Day or a Games Day.

Each family will get one set of tickets to sell. These have been sent home today with the eldest child or only child in the family. Each ticket is $2 so each set of tickets is worth $40. If you are not in a position to help with this fundraiser, that is not a problem, please send back the unsold tickets as soon as you can.

What do you need to do now?

Send along one item for the raffle prizes with each child between now and Wednesday 6 April.

Sell tickets and send into office with the money in a sealed bag. More tickets available as each set is sold should you want to sell more. There will be small prizes for the students who sell the most tickets, however there is no pressure to sell tickets should you not want to.

Thanks so much for your support of this fundraiser.
