Fantastic start to the Google Meets this week. It has been really great to see everybody that has been able to participate in these.

The teachers have reviewed the meets and have a few ideas that will make these meets even better next week.

Before joining a meet be ready to learn

• Be up and dressed ready to go

• Sit up and engage with the learning

• Be on time to workshops, which means joining the meet 2-5 minutes before it starts

• Have all the tabs you need open and close other tabs

We want to see you

• Remove hoods and hats

• Turn your cameras on (if you have an issue with your camera please call our fusion help desk 09 801 2800

• Turn lights on in the room you are in

• Ensure your whole face is in view

We want to hear you

• Turn your microphones on when asked or if you have a question

• If you are sharing a room with others ensure they know you have your microphone on

• Ensure you are in a quiet space and make sure your microphone is off when you join
