In our last newsletter, we talked about a new writing programme that we are trialing. There is a lot of renewed enthusiasm for writing across Year 3-8 and we are really happy with the feedback so far.

This week, during the lunchtime on Tuesday, we also had our first session of Writers' Club - a bit of an offshoot from the Lit Club. We talked about a new book, shared a good sentence structure that the author had used and then had a go at writing a sentence copying the author's style. It was a lot of fun!
