The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
On the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi, Catholics around the world celebrate a central mystery of our faith: the Eucharist. This feast honours the real presence of Jesus Christ in Holy Communion – the bread and wine that we believe become the actual body and blood of Jesus during the Mass.
Corpus Christi is a time for us to reflect on the importance of the Eucharist in our spiritual lives. The feast reminds us that Jesus gave his life for us out of immense love, and through the Eucharist, he continues to be with us in a very special way. Every time we participate in the Eucharist, we are not just remembering Jesus’ sacrifice; we are also receiving him into our hearts and lives
As our children prepare to receive their First Communion, Sunday, June 16th we ask for your prayers and support. This special sacrament marks an important step in their faith journey, as they welcome Jesus into their hearts in a new and profound way.
Please join us in praying for these children, so that they may feel the love and grace of Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. May this joyous occasion strengthen their faith and bring them closer to God's love.
