On Wednesday the 18th of May, a group of the senior school participated in the North- Zone Cross Country.

It was a great day for it. The sun was shining and the crowd was out to cheer us on. This event took place in Redwood at Murchison Park.

The Year 5 & 6 students ran a 2km race, and the Year 7 & 8 students ran 3km. Everybody had great results and some of the students will move forward to go to the next step which is the Canterbury Primary Schools Cross Country event. Everybody represented the St Francis of Assisi school values very well. 

We thank Ms Scott and Miss Henderson for making this event possible and we thank all the friends and whānau for the support they gave us on the day.
