End of Term

Jo Earl —

We made it! Since we have been back from lockdown we have been very busy indeed! This has been a very successful term!

It's hard to believe that we welcomed everyone back just 7 weeks ago as we quickly slipped back into business as usual.

We had our first assembly last week and it was great to have everyone back under the same roof once again.

Celebrating Mass today was wonderful - your children excelled themselves once again - they always show such reverence and respect - we are always very proud of them during these times.

Thank you to the people that showed up at 7.30am this morning to help get the Milo and coffees underway - that was a great wee treat for the start of the holidays.

Thanks to Michelle Russell who has been teaching in Paiaka for the last seven weeks - filling in for Kath Roach while she has been on sick leave. Michelle very quickly became a member of our team and we appreciate her positive attitude and her caring attitude towards our children. I am sure we will see her around in the future. Thanks Michelle.

Next term we welcome Marielle Brown as a new teacher in Kākano - we are excited to have her join the team. We know you will all make her feel very welcome.

We have already begun our planning for next term and we are looking forward to seeing you all back again on July 20.
