Thanks to the efforts of Aisling O'Riordan and Sawyer Carter, our Mum and son hiking team - we now have a new AED (heart-saving defibrillator unit) at our school for use in the community.

To celebrate Aisling's 40th , and Sawyer’s 6th birthdays, they decided to raise $3000 to install a heart-saving defibrillator unit in our community. 

Aisling and Sawyer hiked Stewart Island Rakiura track-32km and the St James Walkway-65km in order to raise over $3000 for the unit to be purchased and installed her at St Francis.
