You may have noticed that a new plot point has appeared on the progress charts for some students.

When your child achieves a goal it is updated in real time on Hero. July 1 was the last date for the middle of year data plot point, and after this date the end of year plot point appears, as this is what is what your child is working towards. 

This plot point shows where your child is currently placed. This plot point will adjust as more progressions are met throughout the second half of the year.

If the plot point appears in the orange right now - this does not mean your child is suddenly below as this point will change as new progressions are met. 

We are currently working on a resource that will unpack the progressions for you and help you understand the wealth of information that Hero provides. In the meantime we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
