Nā te Tumuaki

Term 2 is shaping up to be so much fun! There is so much to be thankful for!

Swimming lessons have been the focus for the first two weeks - our tamariki have shown great progress and as always we have had great reports about their behaviour at the pool and on the bus!

The Resilience Project Parent Launch and Showcase

Next week we are excite to launch this project with our whānau. You are warmly invited to come and see the work our tamariki have been doing and also hear about the project on Wednesday 10 May starting at 5.30pm.

We hope that you will start by visiting your child's Hub and then have 45 minutes to have a look in the other Hubs to view the projects the tamariki have been working on. You will receive a card that you will get coloured spots on for each Hub you visit - all cards with coloured spots  will go in the draw for some spot prizes at the presentation.

We are then going to have short presentation (hui manahau - resilience meeting) in the hall introducing the programme to you all and sharing some resources.

We have invited guest speakers Whitney Hansen and Grace Brooker to join us - we are excited to hear from them!! We will also get the opportunity to listen to Hugh van Cuylenburg via video. Hugh is the author of The Resilience Project and also the founder of this programme that is run in schools.
