St Joseph's School will start the year by releasing the design for the school's new sports top. Students, teachers and the board have been consulted on the design of the new tops that proudly incorporate the school's logo. The design that was chosen, received the most votes from the children.

The new tops are designed to make the students feel proud of their school and create unity across the school. Unlike the old house sports top, which was limited to students in Years 3-8, the new top will be available for all students to wear. 

The new top will have multiple uses. Students will be encouraged to wear their new sports tops when they participate in fitness or physical education. Students will be asked to wear their new sports tops on special occasions such as St Joseph's Day and Athletics Day. The children will also wear the tops when representing the school at different sporting events. This will decrease the need to fundraise to purchase team uniforms. 

L and A Apparel are supplying the new sports tops. The sports tops can be purchased online using the L and A Apparel website. L and A Apparel has advised me that stock has been ordered and is on its way. The sports tops are made from Drytech material. Delivery is free. There is a size guide on the website. We also have sample sizes available in the school office so that students can try them before ordering online.

The new sports tops will be phased in over the next 12 months. So if your child still fits their current house polo shirt, there is no need to rush out and purchase the new sports top.
