On Friday, our out-of-school basketball teams had their final game.

It was wonderful to watch the Vorpal Swords and SJS Champs (Year 7/8 Teams) compete on Friday afternoon.

Both games were very close, with both St Joseph's Teams taking the win. Our players have improved greatly over the season and demonstrated a lot of skill and teamwork, as well as excellent sportsmanship. 

For the Champs game, Coach Mr Baird commented "Great game from the boys, they pulled off a tightly fought win against St Francis 23-19. Probably their best game of the season to finish off with." 

We are very grateful to our parent volunteers who have coached the teams, a special thank you to Mr Golding and Mr Baird who have led after-school practices.
