As a school we need to record the Correct Attendance Codes for every child that is off-site.

When you notify the school that your child will be absent from school it is important that you explain why.

If we are not aware of the reason we can only record them as an Unjustified Absence and this affects their attendance record.

Whether you leave a message on the school phone or use the HERO app you need to say why your child is away; please state the reason.

If the absence is going to be on a regular basis ie weekly, the DP for your child needs to to be emailed.
