Catholic Schools Day
On Wednesday, 28th May 2025. Schools in the north parish will come together to celebrate Catholic Schools Day.
Catholic Schools Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28th. To mark the occasion, three of our Christ the Redeemer parish schools—St Patrick’s, Christ the King, and St Joseph’s—are coming together to celebrate being a part of a Catholic family.
We are excited to announce a shared celebration where children from our three schools will spend time together, build friendships across the parish, and enjoy a sausage sizzle, games, and good fun!
Here’s what the day will look like:
Years 1–3 will gather at St Patrick’s School
Years 4–6 will head to Christ the King School
Years 7–8 will be hosted by St Joseph’s School
Students will travel by bus to their destination, arriving in time for a 12 p.m. sausage sizzle kindly cooked up by our fantastic Parent-Teacher Associations. This will be followed by age-appropriate games and time to connect with new friends. Everyone will return to their own schools in time for the usual end-of-day pick-up.
What do parents need to know?
If your child enjoys sausages, you can pack less lunch that day
Please ensure your child wears sports gear to school and has a jersey, jacket and drink bottle with them
If it rains, the trip will be cancelled, but we will still enjoy our sausage sizzle lunch at school!
We’re really looking forward to this special day of celebration, connection, and community.
