Little Joe's is our pre-school programme that runs on specific afternoons from 1:30-2:30pm.

It provides children with the opportunity to get to know their classmates and to experience some of the things they will be doing and learning when they get to school. It is also a good chance for them to get used to their surroundings so it is not too overwhelming when they begin school.

Children are invited to attend five classroom sessions prior to starting St Joseph's as five year olds. The Little Joe's sessions introduce children to class prayers, alphabet activities, shared reading, letter and numeral formation and practical skills involving the use of scissors, correct pencil grip etc.

Parents or caregivers are expected to be on the school grounds while their child is at Little Joe’s.
