Mana Ake: Building Awesome Whānau Program

Liz Beattie —

Building Awesome Whānau is a Mana Ake facilitated parenting course for those raising tamariki aged 2-13. Full of practical ideas and encouraging stories to equip and empower you to see your dream for your whānau become a reality.

Packed into the Building Awesome Whānau kaupapa are principles and values drawn from mātauranga Māori, including tikanga and te reo Māori.

Delivered through a well-being lens, key concepts in the course include the mana and tapu of tamariki, with significant emphasis placed on aroha, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.

Building Awesome Whānau offers a safe and non–judgemental environment so you can reflect on your past, explore opportunities for change and gain hope for the future.
