Global Games New Zealand Junior Girls Rugby Festival

The Global Games New Zealand Junior Girls Rugby Festival was held in Christchurch from the 22nd to the 24th of September. The tournament had over 500 girls from all over New Zealand representing their clubs. Rose Edmonds and Lydia Armstrong played Under 11 Rip Rugby for Marist Albion RFC. Amelia Kelly and Amber Elkington played Under 11 Tackle for Christchurch FC. Congratulations to the girls for championing girls rugby in Christchurch and to Amber who was awarded a Festival Fairest Player medal.
