Caitlin O'Sullivan —

Dear God. We know that we cannot fully understand how great and wonderful you really are. But we thank you for revealing yourself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (a Trinity of persons) even though you are still one. Help us to learn more about you and the great love you have for each one of us. Amen

Pentecost School Celebration and Caritas Challenge

Last week we celebrated the Solemnity of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came to the Disciples and they were able to share the Good News to all. We celebrated this with a school mass and the Caritas Challenge. Thank you to all who donated to our Caritas Appeal, raising money for the people in Fiji.

Faith Facts

The Solemnity of The Most Holy Trinity Tokotoru Tapu is on Sunday 4th May. The feast invites us to live in the awareness of the presence of the Triune God within us: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The mystery of the Holy Trinity, a doctrine enunciated by the ecumenical councils of Nicaea and Constantinople, is one of the fundamental doctrines of Christianity and the greatest mystery of our Faith, namely, that there are Three Divine Persons, sharing the same Divine nature in one God. “There is one God, who has three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each Person is God, yet there is still only one God” (CCC #234, #253-256). We have Father Who is the Creator, Son, the Redeemer and Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier and the Counselor.

We have a St Joseph's School Family Mass on Sunday 25th June 9.00 am at Christ the King. It would be wonderful to see our families celebrate in the Eucharist together and finish with a shared morning tea in the Parish Centre after the mass.
