Last Wednesday our Year 5 and 6 Rippa team went to Ashbury Park to play ripper rugby. We got in the top 4 teams for the first tournament which meant we got to go to the Subway Cup and play against the best teams in South Canterbury, Mid Canterbury and North Otago.

We played 5 games and had lots of fun. We won 2 out of 5 games but played really hard and the other teams were good. We got to have free Subway for lunch too which was awesome.

Our team was made up of Caleb, Gus, Harri, Toby, Carter, Georgia, Billie, Eve, Millie. Carter got lots of runaways and Millie was an awesome ripper.

Hopefully we get to go again next year.
