Principals Message

Michelle Hermann —

This term has been a term I will never forget. The reasons I won’t forget are:

· How supportive our parent community have been in supporting the mandates and following the procedures required to help       keep our tamariki safe

· The way families have rallied around and been there for each other in isolation

· The care in our school community shown for others in times of need

· How the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure student learning has not been impacted hugely by Covid interruptions     and isolations.

· How amazingly resilient our students have been in these unsettling times.

· How accepting students and teachers, whanau have been about wearing masks at school.

· How Rats have been spoken about as a daily topic (thank God they are not the live ones)

· How even with all the disruptions students have been engaged in their learning and excited to share their learning.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely holiday, may it be Covid free and relaxing. Next term will hopefully see more settled times and programmes inside and outside of the classroom being able to go ahead.

Thank you for your ongoing support you give to the school, teachers and the school community.

In this newsletter I felt it would be timely to showcase all the wonderful learning going on in the school.

God Bless

Manaaki te Atua
