St Joseph's School Temuka —

Congratulations to Cooper Spillane for getting first in his age group at the Geraldine mountain biking competition.

Daniel Eastmead's club team of Pleasant Point won the Player of the year award and the Batter of the year.

Jackson, Braxton and Millie represented Canterbury in a triangular meet in Otago over the weekend. They competed against Otago and Southland. Canterbury won the Shield. Congratulations on your fantastic results.

  • Braxton 3rd in Discus 60m, shot put 4th
  • Millie 6th long jump and 1st 60m (b grade)
  • Jackson 1st 400m, 2nd 200m, 2nd long jump and 4th high jump

Jacob Larsen fought in his first boxing tournament in Christchurch and won the fight unanimously.

The below students participated in the Canterbury Athletic Championships in Christchurch.

  • Oliver 8th shot put, 8th 60m, 6th discus
  • Jackson 2nd high jump, 2nd 400m, 3rd 100m, 2nd long jump, 3rd 200m
  • Jackson 3rd in Under 10 age group overall
  • Millie 6th long jump
  • Braxton 5th discus
  • Grade 8 relay Millie and Oliver 3th
  • Grade 10 boys relay Jackson 8th
