Year 5 Team

The year 5 team had a great start to the season only losing 1 game by 2 points in the first round. After moving up a grade for round 2 the team had some more challenging games, and as they worked together developing new skills all 8 netballers made great improvements.

Sophie Donald was awarded our Best First Year Player and Sammy James award our Most Improved.

Year 6 Team

I would like to thank all the players in the St Josephs Firebird Team. We had a great season with some challenging games in the beginning and as the season progressed so did all the team, learning and developing new skills, working well as a team and showing some great sportsmanship attributes. The team showed great ability to switch between positions, driving onto the ball and moving around the court. Congratulations Firebirds and I hope you will continue with your netball journey in 2023.
