St Joseph's School Temuka —

We are celebrating the lunch market this Friday and students will be able to try the products that have been created by groups in the school. A recipe book will be sent home for each family to try out some of these healthy food options. A reminder that if your child has placed an order a $2 gold coin donation or non-perishable product would be appreciated at school on Friday for our local food bank.

Our Kia crossing is situated at the senior end of the school to provide children with a safe place to cross the road. They're installed at schools so school patrols can control traffic and safely guide children across the street. If you are collecting your child from school, it is vital that they follow the safety procedures and walk across the kia crossing also.  A reminder also to please be aware when parking outside school of the double yellow lines and not to park there as this obscures vision of vehicles.

The community survey results have been collated and in the next newsletter I will give you an overview of the results and talk about our strategic plans moving forward. We are delighted to be working with Nicholas Williams Consulting as a staff and a board to guide us through this implementation.

All the dates are outlined for the remainder of the year events, please pencil them in – your family support is wonderful at these events.
