Anna's Charity Bike Ride

St Joseph's School Temuka —

I am currently in training to complete a round trip through the Mackenzie, Waitaki, Waimate and Timaru Districts by cycling from Timaru-Tekapo-Kurow-Timaru over a three day Charity ride covering 385km.

Any donations to this valuable cause will would be greatly appreciated - and will act as an incentive to keep on pushing to the top of Burke’s Pass, and over the Otematata saddle! Money raised goes towards South Cantebury Hospice, YMCA, Graeme Dingle Foundation, South Canterbury Child Restraints, Heart Kids, MS South Canterbury, Riding For The Disabled, Family Works.

In preparation for this challenge, I am training approximately 3 times per week, including 100+km with the team on Sunday mornings. I am averaging 140-150km per week in training so that I can complete this challenge, and at the same time raise funds for these great serving charities.

One charity in particular - Family Works - is a charity particularly close to my heart. I have seen firsthand the help and support they give to children that need some extra guidance or support at such a young age.

Any donations will, from the bottom of my heart, be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
