Rotary Vegetable Garden Competition
The Rotary Club of Temuka-Geraldine is once again running the Vegetable Garden competition.
This year there will be a family category as well as one for individual students in Year 3-6. Students or families will be given seed potatoes and pea, carrot, radish, lettuce and beetroot seeds to grow in their own garden at home. If your family or child wishes to participate in this competition, please sign up by clicking on the link below and complete the form by 8th September so seeds can be handed out to the children at school before the end of term. This could be an activity for the school holidays.
The gardens are judged by Rotary Club members. You will be contacted to arrange a time for judging from the middle of November onwards and prizes will be awarded to students and families with the best gardens.
