Principal's Message
The past couple of weeks have seen many sporting challenges for our students. It is fantastic to see them all participate with such enthusiasm and determination to do their best. Yesterday students from Year 1-6 participated in our Temuka Cross Country. Having a larger number of students to run against was challenging and gave our students great competition. We are very thankful to Temuka Primary and Rebecca Narayan for all the work they put into the organisation of this event. Mrs Swete, thank you for co-ordinating with her and for the huge role you played on the day to get the course ready for us all. I had a lovely message from a Teacher Aid working with students congratulating our Year 7 and 8 students. It said "just had to pass on how impressed I was with how encouraging your student officials were along the cross country today! They were amazing!" Well done to these students – it is great to see your community spirit shining through.
This week we celebrate support staff week. We are very fortunate to have such an amazing group of support staff working in our school. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Janette, Milton, Jackie, Karen, Jasmine and Susan for all they do to support the school and for always going out of their way to go the extra mile.
