St Joseph's School Temuka — February 4, 2025
What a wonderful way to kick off the new year! And isn’t it refreshing to finally see some sunshine breaking through the showery days? It really does wonders for the soul, giving us that much-needed dose of endorphins. Here’s to more bright days ahead to fuel our energy and positivity as we embrace the year.
Our teaching staff started the year off with a two-day workshop run by Ross Greene. The workshop covered an in-depth overview of Dr Ross Greene's Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) model of intervention. In a nutshell this is all about identifying problems that are causing challenging behaviour for students and solving these problems with them. The staff found it very informative and look forward to using this model.
Top Teams continues to be an exciting and active event that brings out the best in our students. Watching them push beyond their comfort zones, demonstrate exceptional leadership, and feed off each other’s energy is always a highlight. It's a day that leaves everyone feeling inspired and energised.
We are thrilled to warmly welcome three new members to our school community: Stacey Herd, Vicky Mitchell and Karolyn O'Connor. We’re so excited to have them join our team, and we look forward to the positive energy, expertise, and passion they will bring to our school. We know they’ll make a wonderful addition to our school family and help contribute to the vibrant learning environment we strive to create.
