Year 7 and 8 Camp

I really enjoyed seeing the animals at the zoo and learning about them. I liked boogie boarding. I loved playing on the water park it was fun. Camp was very exciting.

This year's school camp was very exciting and challenging with a bunch of activities ranging from zoo visits to water parks to rope courses to surfing and theater work. These were all very interesting activities. My favorite activity was the water park which was in a big lake in Christchurch. Overall the camp was very fun and enjoyable.

Indy

I really enjoyed camp because we went to the aqua park and I got to try new things. The people at the high ropes were so kind especially when I thought I was going to die. The surfing was also one of my favourite things we did even though I did fall over like 1,000 times it was still really fun and enjoyable.

Cooper

This camp was so fun. I liked the zoo and the water park was fun and it was not too cold. I liked the big pillow at Spencer Park. I liked all the water activities. I liked the height ropes but it was a bit scary up in the tall trees. It was fun but I fell off like 3 times but it was hard to get back on the course up high in the tree.

Coen

It was fun going to the water park and getting high in the sky from the blob. Going around the obstacle course and slipping over and jumping off and doing bombs. In the car it was fun. The music was so good.

I liked going to the zoo and seeing the gorillas.

I liked the gorillas at Orana Park and high ropes course and the surfing.

I liked the high ropes course, I was scared at first but after my first one it was so fun.

I liked the gorillas at Orana Park and the high ropes course. The thing I loved the most was surfing for the first time.

Awa

I liked the gorillas at the zoo and the lions and tiger, and the surfing if it wasn't cold and the water park was cold too.

Ollie

I liked the monkeys at the Orana Park and the water park with the bouncy pillow. I like surfing and the adrenalin forest and of course the sleep.

Jack

On the first day we went to Orana Park to see the gorillas for 4 hours. After that we went to the water park in Kaiapoi, I loved that, my favorite was launching people it was so cold. After we went to where we were staying at Spencer Park, when we got there we unpacked that night, couldn't sleep. The next day we went surfing and boogie boarding after that we went to have lunch. After that we went to the high ropes. It was scary at first. After an hour and a half we went home for our last night. Once again I wasn't able to sleep. Next morning we were packing to get ready to go home but before that we had to do some acting at the court theater. After that we went to the Rolleston playground. After that we drove home to school to wait for our parents to pick us up at the end.

On the first day we went to the zoo and learnt about some of the animals and we fed the giraffes, then we went to a waterpark in Kaiapoi, it was very fun jumping of the slide but challenging to get on the launch pad thing

We went to Christchurch on Wednesday as soon as we got to Christchurch we went to Orana Park, we saw tons of animals, my favorite was the giraffe. After that we went to a water park. It was cold but fun. There was a spinny thing in the middle where you needed 4 people to work it.

Mikayla

I really liked this year’s school camp. I liked the different range of activities that most of us hadn’t done. I liked all the activities apart from the theater stuff, the rooms were very cool and the playground and bouncy pillow was really fun. Overall it was a fun camp experience.
