From the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents and Caregivers, Greetings, Tena Koutou, Malo-e-lei lei.
Thanks to those parents who are ensuring our students are prepared for school and activities by having the correct stationery and clothing and especially the swimming togs. We still have numerous students as yet not prepared.
With summer being as extreme as it is, it would be advisable that your child have a water bottle so that they stay hydrated during class time, also pack sufficient lunch or snacks to keep them going for the day. 🥤
Please keep a check on your child’s homework as there is always some spelling, reading, writing or maths during the week.
We still have the medical service where students are checked for sore throat. If you have concerns please contact us so that we may have them attended to. 🤒
We are planning our whakawhanaungatanga sleepover for week 6 with activities to build relationships – tuakana teina- amongst the students. Parent interviews, to discuss goals, data and meet the teacher, will be held during week 7.
Thank you once again to all for supporting our students and school.
Kind regards
Richard Truter
Principal
