Close to 100 students, over 20 teams, only one winner!

This week 38 of our Y10 students headed to Canterbury University to complete in the Year 10 UC Amazing Race.

The students faced a day with multiple challenges from many of the Canterbury University faculties to test and challenge their mental acuity and fitness levels.

There were a myriad of tasks and riddles as well as trading on the stock exchange and trading on the stock exchange, considering topical news items in a moot court, maths and physics challenges and even a painting task for the Student Volunteer Army.

The pupils had a ball racing through the beautiful grounds, experiencing the different aspects of UC and seeing the varied range of subject options that are available at the university. Congratulations to Hannah, Lauren, Olivia, Anita and Jessika for coming in 1st place overall with an outstanding time!
