SMC Trust Board Succession Planning

SMC —

The Trust Board recognises the importance of succession planning for the Board to deliver ongoing effective governance and leadership for St Margaret’s College.

Due to the coming completion of the terms of several Trustees, we are now looking to appoint three new Board members to maintain the balance of capability and community awareness for the College’s future leadership. We would welcome expressions of interest from our community to play an active role in the governance of St Margaret’s College.

We are particularly interested in hearing from those with experience in business management, technology or marketing-based industries, legal services, property management or in education. Previous governance experience is desirable, but not essential.

The Trust Board meets monthly. Board members may also sit on one or more of the Trust Board Committees, which normally meet less frequently, also in the evenings. Appointments are normally for a four-year term.

Expressions of interest should be emailed to trustboard@stmargarets.school.nz by 31 March 2020, with an accompanying letter and an outline of your experience.
