On our last day of Term 2, our Preschool and Junior School combined to support a Christchurch based Charity called Good Night Sleep Tight.

This charity aims to ensure that no child in Christchurch is cold at night and provides families in need with warm Pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers, sheets and books to curl up to.

Our contribution to this charity was to hold a Pyjama Day where children were able to wear pyjamas if they bought pyjamas or other sleepwear to pass on to Good Night Sleep Tight. We welcomed Anna and Jill trustees of the Charity to our assembly to collect our donations. Her message of thanks to our community was as follows:

What an amazing Assembly today, the children were a delight and so cute in their PJ's, plus the teachers and even Mrs Patchett. The two girls leading the assembly were delightful and very professional. Jill and I were overwhelmed by the very generous donations. Please thank the Junior school and Preschool both children and teachers once again from us all for the kind donations which we will put to very good use in the community. Kind regards Anna
