PFA News

SMC —

As we wind down for the July holidays it has given us a chance to look back on this term. The PFA has worked closely with the school on a number of initiatives and at our last meeting, we donated $12,000 to the school to support some extra opportunities that have arisen since the start of the school year.

We are very proud to support a request for a high-end broadcast camera to complement the larger investment the school has made in broadcast and streaming hardware. We donated towards a well-being initiative called School TV and we have provided branding for netball posts. There is still quite a pot of money left to allocate so we look forward to welcoming you at future meetings so you can get involved in discussing what types of things you would like the PFA to support.

At our last meeting, we had a request from Jayne our Junior School Representative who asked if we could support stocking the supply of games within the Junior School to keep the girls entertained when the weather is too bad to go outside. If you have any games in good condition that would be suitable for our Junior School girls, please could you leave them at reception for the attention of the PFA.

We wish you a restful July holiday and see you back next term.
