Congratulations to Gemma Sitjes (Y7) who was one of the winners of the Banqer "Money Box Competition" during Global Money Week.

The competition to create a money box out of recycled materials was held in both Australia and New Zealand and after careful consideration and voting from the Banqer Team, Gemma's Game Boy entry took out one of the top spots!

Banqer is a financial education platform that provides a hands-on environment for students to get curious, creative, and ultimately, confident with money. Some of our Year 7s have been using Banqer to learn about financial literacy concepts.

Gemma's efforts have won her class a 'Suped-Up' Package full of toys and prizes for her classmates and a morning tea to share with her classmates.
