30 SMC girls recently collected for the Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease street appeal at various localities across Christchurch. Well done girls!

Fundraising helps pay for MSPD nurses and physios, and to support facilities at MSPD based at Russley.

This year fundraising will also contribute toward the new exciting Braintree Centre - an innovative, world-first wellness centre for those living with neurological conditions. The Braintree Centre, to be built on Langdons Road, is a collaboration between Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Canterbury and Dementia Canterbury. The premises will include a gym, a studio and a café as well as seminar rooms, plus ample office space for other neurological organisations, offering specialist services including exercise, diet and physiotherapy programmes.
