Getting the info you need from the new newsletter and website

SMC —

We hope you enjoy the new format newsletter. Going forward the newsletter will be a place to tell our St Margaret’s story. We want to highlight our girls’ successes, celebrate their achievements and share their stories while providing you with the information you need.

We know that, for many, the newsletter is a place you refer, to confirm key dates and find out about events happening throughout the year – and it still will be! The left-hand side of the newsletter will have key dates, under the ‘Don’t Miss’ heading and to keep things simple, notices will be under … ‘Notices’. This section will take you through to the ‘Important Notice’ section on the school website.

One of our favourite features is the ability to filter the content to suit your interests and needs. If you are a parent of a Junior School girl you may only want to see articles and information that relates to the Junior School. Simply click the ‘Junior School’ tag on the left-hand side of the newsletter and you will only see content that relates to the Junior School. If there isn’t a ‘Junior School’ tag it just means that there isn’t any Junior School-specific news this issue.

You may have also noticed late last year our school website received a facelift. If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, here are a few key areas to familiarise yourself with:

Quick Links – a list of useful links for current parents at your fingertips including term dates, school calendar of events, important notices and the absences form.

What’s On – an easy-to-access list of key dates and upcoming events.

Latest News - not all the news makes it into the newsletter, more great stories about the students, past and present can be found here.
