Sophie Geddes, Jenna Borthwick, Myah Klinkenberg, Molly Dougherty and Amy Cawte had the great opportunity to test their French and rugby knowledge

at the Great French Challenge organised by the Crusaders and Alliance Francaise ahead of the French Barbarians game in Christchurch last Friday.The event was a quiz competing against four other schools and each group was teamed with a Crusader helper who introduced themselves in fluent French. The girls learnt a lot and enjoyed the evening with their French speaking rugby heroes Ronan O’Gara, Scott “Razor” Robertson, Mike Delany and Seta Tamanivalu, it also highlighted to them the importance of learning a language.
