On Thursday last week the Year 8's from St Margaret’s joined all the other independent schools at Riccarton Raceway for the Year 8 dance.

It all started with getting ready all together after school. Once we were all ready we took photos out the front of Julius. We arrived into the awkward room of teenagers, sat down all together as a friend group and worked up the courage to go to the dance floor. The night went smoothly from then on after.

Everyone had a great time and it was the highlight of the term. All the girls talked about their experiences for a few days after.
