Virtual Get-Togethers

SMC —

While most of us are still working and learning remotely, it's so important for us all to gather as a community, even if it has to be virtually!

For this reason, we've kept as much as we can in the calendar during the school day during Alert Level 3. Our first gathering of the term will be Tuesday 28 April for a special online ANZAC Chapel Service at 10:30am, following the first long Tutor Time of the term at 10:10am.

On Thursday we will hold our Summer Sports Assembly at 10:10am and then finish the week's get-togethers with another long Tutor Time at 10:10am on Friday.

In Week 2, as well as regular Chapel on Monday and long Tutor Times on Tuesday and Friday, we will have the Combined Honours Assembly on Thursday at 10:10am to mark the achievements of our senior students. To round off the week with a bit of fun, we'll have a Reverse Mufti-Day on Friday with students wearing their uniform at home! For every student who's dressed up during Tutor Time, the school will make a gold coin donation to City Mission's Food Bank, a great way to raise funds for those really struggling during this time.

Unfortunately, some events have had to be rescheduled such as cross-country, field trips, camps and visiting performances. We hope to be able to revisit as many of these activities as possible once the Alert Level is reduced.
