With no access to a physical library during this nationwide lockdown, the SMC Library still has many online resources for you and your girls to access.

You can find all the information that you need on our library webpage: https://nz.accessit.online/SMC/#!dashboard. This page will provide you and your girls with all the usernames and login information that you will need, the girls need to be logged in with their St Margaret’s Google account. We will be updating it regularly with any relevant new information.

The girls all have access to our online eBook and Audiobook platform Wheelers. Their username is their cafe card number and their login is the same password that they use to log onto the internet at school. If they do not know their cafe card number we can provide you with this information. This is a fantastic way for them to keep up with their reading from home. Audible has also just made much of its content free to use during this time and David Walliams is telling his funny stories for free as well!

The EPIC databases are a fantastic resource for study and are free for the girls to use and don’t forget Citemaker for all referencing needs. We also subscribe to many online magazines that the girls can look at for pleasure or research.

We will be continuing with our reading programs remotely throughout this time and our library committee will hopefully be providing some fun activities for the girls to watch and do from home, we will keep you posted.
