Sohyun Kwon, Y12 IB student, has won the popularity category of the World Chinese Bridge Competition.

Thanks to the support of her SMC friends, teachers and Sohyun's family and friends she received the most votes. Chinese Bridge is a worldwide competition run by the Confucius Institute which showcases a student's Chinese language skills and hidden talents.

Sohyun will receive a Chinese education scholarship to study in China for six months with return airfares paid. She can use this scholarship within the next three years.
