Hattie Compton-Moen is one of these students. Thanks to a Year 9-13 academic scholarship, Hattie was able to attend St Margaret’s College where she excelled in debating, robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) subjects. Now enrolled in conjoint law and science degrees at Victoria University, Hattie says attending St Margaret’s opened her up to a world of opportunities. “Being on scholarship grew my personal confidence and inspired me to make the most of every opportunity. It really made a difference to my life.”
