This year we've increased the frequency of formal written reports from twice a year to three. This improves the timeliness of these reports and enables more certainty around publication dates.

The first of these is due in the Kamar Parent Portal in the week beginning May 17. We're aiming for Tuesday 18 May. It includes an explanation of the grading system, subject reports, a tutor report, attendance information, and for students in NCEA courses a summary of standards entered and results achieved.

The second round of reporting will be in early Term 3 (August), with the final round at the end of the academic year ( October or November depending upon Year level).

If you require a paper copy of the report, as well as digital, you can request this via our website. If you would appreciate a reminder about your Parent Portal logon please email me (grant.belcher@stmargarets.school.nz) being sure to indicate your daughter's name.

The next opportunity for Parent-Teacher meetings will be after the second round of written reports, but if you have concerns in the meantime please contact your daughter's tutor to have these followed up.

Student achievement and application to learning will be further acknowledged in mid-June with ceremonies to award Academic badges to those nominated by their teachers.
