A Cricket Bonanza!
There’s been lots of cricket recently for our Year 5 and 6 girls. The Year 5 team and the Year 6 team played in the Girls Cricket Smash 6-a-side competition on Wednesday 1st November at the Hagley Polo Grounds. The girls played 4 games throughout the day and had a blast. It was great to see every single girl improve in their batting, bowling, and fielding throughout the day. A huge thank you to our parent supporters and the student coaches Frankie Jack, Gen Surridge, and Sophie Gibb.
This afternoon, our girls have their second game against St Albans! Have fun, team!
Phoebe Steele Cup
It is that time of year again when I am on the hunt for applicants to be put forward for the Phoebe Steele Cup. All Year 3-6 parents would have received an email outlining the criteria we consider for winning this cup. We do not expect every parent to fill this out. If you would like your daughter to be considered for this cup please fill in the Google form that was attached to the email and send it back by Wednesday 8 November.
