RSA fundraiser

SMC —

RSA treasurer Nick Nicholson visited St Margaret’s and met with Global Prefect Alexandra Lay, Head of Languages, Dr Hossbach and a group of Year 11 French students.

As part of the Shared Histories project, SMC, alongside the Ministry of Education and the French Embassy, has been involved in helping to produce a bilingual World War I recipe book. Alexandra was part of a group of students to visit partner schools in Amiens and Rouen, as well as New Zealand war cemeteries during the French trip in 2016. And the current Year 11’s used the book as a fundraiser for their upcoming trip. Mr Nicholson was presented with a $500 cheque, part of the funds from the sale of books, and the remaining books were donated to the RSA.
