We are very excited to be finally hosting a music concert at SMC. It is going to be fabulous to welcome musicians from both SMC and Christ's College and hear them perform in the first combined concert since 2019.

The concert on Wednesday, June 1 at 7.30pm in the Charles Luney Auditorium will feature the Combined Orchestra, and Chamber Music groups from both SMC and Christ’s College that are taking part in the Chamber Music Contest. 

Choirs from both schools will also be performing, and it will be wonderful to hear the recently formed combined choir Ka Waiata Kareti who will be performing together for the first time. All choirs performing in this concert are also taking part in the Big Sing, so this is a wonderful performance opportunity for them ahead of the competition next month.

It would be lovely to see lots of friends and family supporting this special concert – we look forward to seeing you there next Wednesday evening.
