Buddy Up! Making Big Sister, Little Sister connections….. Making personal connections to people is a fundamental element in ensuring happiness. Our buddy classes are underway this term.

Every second week, different year groups meet up to share their learning, participate in a variety of activities and generally build connections outside their normal peer groups. The benefits of such activity include boosting moods, self-esteem, and compassion. It helps develop caring attitudes towards others and their own learning, participating and also pays attention to being in the moment.

Our Big Sister, Little Sister connections also take place throughout the year when older girls in the middle and senior years contribute to the Junior School by running various activities and clubs. Next week, our senior leaders (Year 13) will hold our annual Yr 1-3 Teddy Bear’s picnic as well as support our Year 4-6 in our Swimming Sports.

Our Heads of Houses are also making connections and mentoring our Junior School House Leaders through regular meetings and advice on how to live and led.
