SMC is delighted to once again invite all grandparents and special friends to join us to celebrate the importance of community and relationships across the generations at our Grandparents' Day on Friday 23 October.

The timetable for the day is detailed below:

Pre-School

9:45am - Grandparents arrive at Pre-School
9:50am - Grandparents join Pre-School activities
10:15am - Children show grandparents around Pre-School
10:35am - Morning tea for grandparents in the Atrium

Junior School
8:30am - Grandparents arrive at Winchester Gate
8:45am - Grandparents attend Junior School Chapel
9:45am - Grandparents visit students' classrooms
10:35am - Morning tea for grandparents in the Atrium

Middle & Senior Schools
10:00am - Grandparents arrive and meet grandchildren in Atrium
10:10am - Chapel for grandparents and grandchildren
10:35am - Morning tea in the Atrium
11:00am - Students show grandparents around the school
11:50am - Grandparents depart and students return to lessons

To allow for catering, all RSVPs must be received by Friday 16 October. 

We understand that not all children have grandparents, and some grandparents will be unable to attend. We encourage these children to bring another special older adult – a family friend or other relative.
