What do you love the most about SMC?
Working with girls! I have only boys at home, even my dog is a boy and I love working with young ladies for a change.
I absolutely love the Big Sister Little Sister relationship in the SMC sports programme. We have senior students passing down their knowledge to our little girls and that’s really special.
Have you ever thought about a different career? What would you do for a job if you were not a teacher?
I really wanted to be a nurse when I was young but then I went with my dad who cut himself with a chainsaw to the hospital! It was then I realised I didn’t want to be a nurse anymore. That’s when I thought, I think I might be a teacher. My mum, dad and brother are all teachers too.
What would your “perfect day” look like?
It is hot, the sun is shining and I’m lying by my pool, reading my book, with music playing (probably the latest pop songs) and a cold drink in my hand!
